Contact Hog Fuel NZ today to see what we can do for you!

Hog Fuel NZ provides the right knowledge, experience and machinery for a range of applications, such as forestry/orchard clearing and mulching, producing and supplying hog fuel, mulch, compost, wood chip, calf bedding and playground material for schools.

Our Services also include land clearing, large tree removal and getting rid of your green waste without trying to hide it or burn it. At Hog Fuel NZ, we are dedicated to reusing everything we possibly can; to teach future generations how to do it correctly, so they too can enjoy a clean green New Zealand.

The wood provided by the trees we rip out can be mulched and turned into clean hog fuel, the demand for which, is already high and growing. On top of creating a profitable fuel source for local factories and hospitals, or chips for your garden, calf shed, or local playground, we can also just turn your mess into mulch.
When green waste is mulched, it plays an important part in enriching soil, holding moisture, and keeping away plant disease and pests. It creates beneficial bacteria and fungi that helps the organic matter break down and reduces methane emissions.

Our machinery excels in orchard clearing. Currently, if you want your fruit trees out, you would need to wait for winter to get a fire permit, which would make for a messy, untimely, costly and labour-intensive project. Our team can operate at any time of year to completely clear your land so it is ready for use quickly.

We can take on the toughest grinding applications and our efficiency is unmatched, meaning less down time. You can reintroduce the ground wood product from orchard grinding into the soil to support the next crop, or let us ship it out and simply clear the land. It’s up to you!
